\nPretty useful if you are telling something but you can\u2019t remember when it happened, you can always use.

Hace un tiempo aprend\u00ed a tocar el piano, no s\u00e9 si ahora recuerdo como hacerlo.
\nA while back I learned to play the piano, I do not know if I remember how to do it now.<\/p>\n

2 – ESTAR EN PAZ \u2013 to be quits
\nAlthough most of the time people relate this sentence to money, it could be used for any other things, like a favour for example.<\/p>\n

Aqu\u00ed tienes los 5 euros que te deb\u00eda, ahora estamos en paz.
\nHere you are, the $5.00 I owed you, now we are quits.<\/p>\n

#note-in some Spanish speaking countries they use \u201ctablas\u201d instead of \u201cen paz\u201d<\/p>\n

3 – DE CUALQUIER MANERA – either way
\nIf you are between you options, good or bad, it is a good time to use \u201cde cualquier manera\u201d.<\/p>\n

No s\u00e9 si vamos a ir a Grecia o a Espa\u00f1a este verano, de cualquier manera van a ser unas vacaciones geniales.
\nI do not know if we are goring to Greece or to Spain this summer, either way it\u2019s going to be a great holidays.<\/p>\n

4 – PARA VARIAR – for a change.
\nWhen you want to express exactly that a change, or something different.<\/p>\n

Normalmente juego al tenis, pero esta semana voy a nadar, para variar
\nI normally play tennis, but this week I am going to swin for a change.<\/p>\n

5 – ESTAR A PUNTO DE + INFINITVO \u2013 to be just about to + infinitve
\nWhen you are about to do\/finish\/start something is when you would use this phrase.<\/p>\n

Ya he acabado el trabajo, y estoy a punto de salir de la oficina.
\nI have finish work, and I am just about to leave the office.<\/p>\n

#note-when you want to answer a question you as you would in English but saying \u201cjust about\u201d, in Spanish we will say \u201ca punto\u201d.
