{"id":544,"date":"2017-05-28T17:18:12","date_gmt":"2017-05-28T21:18:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spanishforamerica.com\/?p=544"},"modified":"2017-05-28T17:18:12","modified_gmt":"2017-05-28T21:18:12","slug":"por-favor-no-maltratemos-el-idioma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spanishforamerica.com\/por-favor-no-maltratemos-el-idioma\/","title":{"rendered":"Por favor, no maltratemos el idioma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Una vez m\u00e1s quiero compartir con mis lectores mi preocupaci\u00f3n por que tanto mis estudiantes de espa\u00f1ol como aquellos hispanohablantes no maltraten el idioma.<\/p>\n<p>Comienzo por el verbo ingl\u00e9s <strong>\u201cTo endorse\u201d<\/strong> que no puede traducirse al espa\u00f1ol como <strong>\u201cendorsar\u201d<\/strong>, n\u00f3! \u201cendorsar no existe en nuestro diccionario.\u00a0No diga entonces <strong><em>\u201cYo no endorso la pol\u00edtica migratoria de este gobierno\u201d.<\/em><\/strong> Nuestro idioma es muy rico en vocabulario y podemos traducir esa palabra inglesa como <strong><em>respaldar, apoyar, avalar o aprobar. <\/em><\/strong>Diga <strong><em>\u201cYo no apoyo, no respaldo o no apruebo la pol\u00edtica migratoria de este gobierno\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>El problema radica en creer que podemos castellanizar cualquier verbo ingl\u00e9s, a\u00f1adi\u00e9ndole a su ra\u00edz la terminaci\u00f3n de una de las tres conjugaciones verbales que tenemos en espa\u00f1ol: AR, ER o IR. En este caso, tomamos la ra\u00edz de verbo \u201cendorse\u201d y a\u00f1adimos la terminaci\u00f3n \u2013ar y ah\u00ed tenemos endors-ar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O\u00edmos frecuentemente en los noticieros de television \u00a0en espa\u00f1ol a un reportero afirmando que <strong><em>\u201cla\u00a0polic\u00eda\u00a0est\u00e1 trabajando fuertemente para enforzar las leyes Estatales\u201d. <\/em><\/strong> El verbo <strong>\u201cenforzar\u201d<\/strong> tampoco hace parte del diccionario de la RAE (Real Academia Espa\u00f1ola de la lengua).
